About Øystein
Dr. Øystein Sørdal is a specialist in internal medicine, digestive and liver diseases, with a PhD focused on neuroendocrine conditions of the stomach. He previously worked as a consultant at the gastroenterology department at St. Olavs Hospital.
Øystein has broad experience in his field and performs daily gastroscopy and colonoscopy, including polyp removal, as well as outpatient follow-up of patients who have been examined at Medicus. In addition to his clinical work, he is involved in quality registry work and preparations for research projects in collaboration with St. Olavs Hospital, especially targeting the stomach ulcer bacterium H. pylori.
