gastroscopy
gastroscopy is an examination that examines the oral cavity, esophagus, stomach, and duodenum. The examination is performed when symptoms suggest disease in these organs.
Colonoscopy
Colonoscopy is an examination of the rectum, colon, and sometimes the lower part of the small intestine. The examination is performed when symptoms suggest disease in these organs.
Iron infusion
Iron infusion is a treatment for those of you who suffer from iron deficiency and low blood levels. The treatment is carried out after a check of blood tests that map the blood levels, ferritin levels, iron saturation and the size of your red blood cells. If your levels are too low, we will help you get back to the right level.
IBS outpatient clinic
IBS outpatient clinic at Medicus focuses on follow-up by a clinical nutritionist (KEF). For 30% to 40%, diet and dietary advice / FODMAP has been shown to have a significant impact on the patient's symptom burden. Therefore, this is an important point in our follow-up. Before starting treatment at KEF, we want the patient to be examined by a specialist. This involves clarifying blood tests, endoscopy and possibly radiological examination.
