Gynecological health check
During a gynecological health check, we will be able to uncover the causes of pain and discomfort, or in most cases confirm that everything is normal.
The health check consists of:
- Gynecological examination: The gynecologist performs a gynecological examination to detect signs of disease or changes, and to examine the uterus, ovaries and other organs in the pelvis.
- Vaginal ultrasound examination: Using modern ultrasound equipment, we get good images of the uterus and ovaries.
- Relevant sampling: Sometimes we perform cell, bacterial or chlamydia tests. Other times it may be natural to take hormone or blood tests to detect or rule out disease or imbalance in the hormonal system.
