Fertility Tests for Women

Summary: A female fertility check will provide you with insight into your current fertility and may give you answers to why you have been struggling to conceive

Why do a fertility check?

A fertility check is done to examine your current fertility and to look for any possible reasons for why you’re struggling to conceive.

The findings of this check-up will allow us to advise you on whether you require treatment and what your best treatment options are.

The insight we gain into your fertility will also be very helpful when it comes to future family planning.

What is being examined?

The check-up is performed around your needs, but will normally include the following:

  • Blood test to assess your hormone profile, general state of health and blood borne viruses
  • Medical history
  • Gynecological examinations
  • Pelvic ultrasound
  • An HSG to examine your fallopian tubes
