Become an egg donor · Medicus
You don't need to have
a special reason.
You just have to want to help.
Egg donation gives involuntarily childless people the opportunity to have children. It is medically safe, compensated – and something many women who have done it describe as one of the most meaningful things they have ever done.

Frequently Asked Questions
You may be wondering…
Here are the questions we hear most often from women considering donating.
Does it affect my own fertility?
No. The stimulation causes you to develop more eggs in a given month – but you are born with all the eggs you will ever have. Donation does not deplete your own reserves.
Will the child know who I am?
The donation is anonymous to the parents, but open to the child. The child can learn your identity when they turn 15, if they wish. You will not know anything about the child unless they contact you.
Can I withdraw?
Yes. You can withdraw your consent right up until the eggs are fertilized. After fertilization it is too late – but until then you are free to stop.
Do I have legal responsibility for the child?
No. As a donor, you have no rights or obligations towards the child. Legally, you are not a parent.
Can I donate if I haven't had children of my own?
Yes. You don't have to have children to donate.
