About Sunniva
Sunniva Bjørnå is a clinical nutritionist (KEF) at Medicus Oslo. A KEF is an authorized health professional with specialized knowledge about nutrition and how the food we eat affects the body, health and various disease conditions. The education consists of a master's degree in clinical nutrition, and the professional title is protected – this means that only those with approved education can call themselves a clinical nutritionist.
She previously holds a bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology and Biological Chemistry from the University of Oslo.
Sunniva has been a group leader in weight reduction courses for patients at Aker Hospital, worked on the Noba app for irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and held various positions as a scientific assistant in nutrition-related research projects.
Sunniva has extensive experience with weight loss and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), but also diet and fertility, celiac disease, diabetes, allergies, nutritional supplementation and weight gain, and can help patients with various issues.
She is committed to making food as uncomplicated as possible and a positive part of everyday life. Sunniva focuses on providing patients with good mapping and guidance adapted to their everyday life and preferences, with the goal of minimizing ailments and symptoms and increasing quality of life.
