Asmund Mjoen-Vigeland

Åsmund Mjøen-Vigeland is a specialist in women's health and obstetrics. Since 2016, he has mainly worked with involuntarily childless, pregnant and giving birth women at Oslo University Hospital, before joining Medicus in 2024.  

At Medicus, Åsmund works as a gynecologist and fertility doctor, helping women with general gynecological issues, as well as couples and singles to fulfill their dream of having a child.  

Mjøen-Vigeland is concerned that patients feel cared for and safe, and that they experience being understood and getting answers to the questions they are wondering about. He himself has experience with in vitro fertilization over a period of four years before he succeeded in having children, which gives him a unique understanding of the patients' situation.
