Ann Katrin Midthjell

I am a registered nurse with further education in mental health. I chose this further education because I wanted increased knowledge and confidence in dealing with patients who are in life crises or experiencing mental stress. For me, it is important to see the whole person and create a safe and predictable framework around a vulnerable process.

Throughout much of my professional career, I have worked in women's health, with experience in both general gynecology and gynecological cancer. I also have experience in a public fertility clinic, which has given me broad insight into fertility assessment and treatment.

I have been part of building up the clinic in Bergen as part of a very dedicated team. Today I work as an IVF nurse, team coordinator and operations manager – a role I really enjoy. I am committed to quality, care and close follow-up, and am passionate about ensuring that our patients feel safe and cared for throughout the entire treatment process.
